It with great regret I have to inform you.

That Betty, wife of one of our staunch Hervey Bay members the Late Ron Glaister has crossed the bar and joined Ron in Safe harbour.

Our condolences go to their son John and Family

Both Betty and John were proud to be part of the Ganges Family

 

The 2016 reunion.

A group of us from Queensland took an intrepid journey(approx 32ookms round trip) to join with other Ganges boys from the ACT, S.Australia and NSW at the Victorian Divisions Reunion held in Moama/Echuca on the the Murray River.

A great time was had by all and a big BZ must go to the Vic’s for organizing such good week.

Praise must go to the venue” CADELL on the Murray Motel Resort” Michelle, Ben and their staff did a wonderful job looking after us old sailors and our wives (above and beyond). Suggest to any of our readers if you are down that way stay there, its great.

There will be some more photo’s in the gallery shortly. Suffice to say if the Vic’s do it  again next year its worth the effort.
